More and more companies understand sustainability as the central foundation of a future-proof economy. The Bergwaldprojekt offers various ways in which companies can get involved - through financial support or active participation in the Bergwald. This creates a joint contribution to working with volunteers, to responsibility towards the environment and society and to strengthening a sustainable future.

Taking responsibility for the mountain forest

Companies can make a contribution to the mountain forest in various ways. Any form of support helps to maintain, protect and preserve the mountain forest in the long term. There are various options for long-term partnerships: from regional involvement to strategic partnerships that have a sustainable impact over several years.

Donations

An uncomplicated and effective form of support. The funds are used where they are most urgently needed, directly support the work with volunteers and flow straight into our projects.

Corporate patronage

With an annual contribution from CHF 950, companies make a reliable contribution to the protection of the mountain forest. Decades pass before a tree reaches maturity - during which care and protection remain necessary. A patronage accompanies this process and ensures the long-term preservation of the mountain forest.

Companies with a patronage receive the "Specht" magazine four times a year with exciting insights, background information and stories about the mountain forest. They also benefit from a 10% discount on fee-based Bergwaldprojekt projects.

During a work assignment in the mountain forest, employees experience directly what their commitment achieves. Working together strengthens team spirit, promotes awareness of ecological relationships and creates lasting impressions.

Conditions of cooperation

Communication about donations and cooperations takes place after prior, mutual agreement. Companies can announce their support on their communication channels in coordination with the Bergwaldprojekt.

The Bergwaldprojekt does not accept donations or cooperations from companies or organizations whose business activities contradict the purpose of the Bergwaldprojekt or violate fundamental ecological and social values. These include in particular

Ecological overexploitation and destruction of forests
Violation of human rights, including economic, social and cultural rights
Discrimination against minorities
Unfair business practices

Tabak, Alcohol, gambling, pornography

These criteria ensure that all donations and partnerships are in line with the foundation's purpose as well as ecological and social principles.
The management makes the final decision on the acceptance or exclusion of donations and partnerships.
