Donations for special occasions, mourning and legacy donations
There are many ways to support the mountain forest - including at special moments in life or in memory of loved ones. Occasional, bereavement and legacy donations combine personal values with a sustainable contribution to the Bergwald.

Event donations
Celebrate a special event and share the joy: Special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings or other milestones can be turned into a lasting gift through occasion donations. Occasion donations replace material gifts and create lasting value for the mountain forest.
How it works: Donations are requested instead of gifts - this way, donations are collected together and the mountain forest is supported sustainably.
Funeral donations
A final greeting can give the gift of a future: funeral donations set a lasting example. Remembrance turns into a lasting impact for the mountain forest: every wildlife protection fence erected, every young tree cut free and every dry meadow mowed enables new life to grow - and creates habitat for numerous species.
How it works: Instead of flowers or wreaths, donations can be made to the mountain forest - for example by including a note in the obituary or in the invitation to the farewell service.
Inheritances and legacies
What remains when a person passes away
A legacy makes it possible to pass on values and support the mountain forest in the long term. Just as a tree lasts for generations, a will for the mountain forest also has an impact beyond a person's own lifetime. A legacy for the Bergwaldprojekt is transformed into tangible work in the mountain forest - this idea is multiplied by the commitment of our volunteers.

We are also happy to take over the care of a bequeathed piece of forest - sustainably, close to nature and with a long-term perspective.
