General terms and conditions
Code of Conduct
The Bergwaldprojekt is committed to the protection, preservation and maintenance of the forest and the cultural landscape. The basis for this is the respectful treatment of nature. Similarly, the Bergwaldprojekt stands for respectful treatment of people, which is practiced in our projects.
The participants respect the mental, physical and sexual integrity of all persons involved in a project. Violence and boundary violations are not tolerated. The leaders of the Bergwaldprojekt set the requirements for compliance with these values during the projects.
Alcohol and tobacco are to be consumed in responsible quantities. The consumption of alcohol is prohibited during working hours and until the end of the working day at the accommodation. The consumption of illegal substances is not tolerated.
Safety and insurance
It is essential for safety that the instructions of the project personnel, in particular the project leader, are followed at all times. The requirements stated in the project description must be observed. Participation in the project is at your own risk and peril.
A good physical condition is a prerequisite for participation in the projects. Physically impaired persons may not register for projects or are responsible if they do so anyway.
Accident insurance is the responsibility of the participants. The Bergwaldprojekt accepts no liability for any damage caused in the accommodation.
Photos and publications
The Bergwaldprojekt carries out public relations work for the Bergwald. It is possible that your project will be reported on in our publications or in the media. You agree to this.
Photographs will be taken during the project and may be published in our publications. Participants agree to this.
Any external communication of the Bergwaldprojekt assignment by participants - in particular communication for advertising purposes and the use of the word/image brand "Bergwaldprojekt" - requires the prior written consent of the Bergwaldprojekt.
Confidentiality
The project participants undertake to maintain the confidentiality of all confidential information, documents and data that they gain access to before and/or during the Bergwaldprojekt. This also applies after the end of the Bergwaldprojekt assignment.
Legal
The agreements resulting from these terms and conditions are subject to Swiss law. The ordinary courts of the Canton of Graubünden shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from or in connection with these agreements. The place of jurisdiction is Chur.
The Bergwaldprojekt would like to thank you for your understanding and for taking note of these regulations. We wish you an effective time in the Bergwald.
